Manage subdomains
Check status, renew a registration, and delete an unused subdomain.
Open a subdomain
Open Subdomains in the dashboard and choose Manage for the address you own. The details page shows its status, time until expiry, and nameservers.
An active registration does not by itself confirm that a website is connected. Check your hosting and DNS configuration separately.
Renew a subdomain
- Open Subdomains and choose Renew, or open Manage and choose Renew Domain.
- Wait for the success message.
- Reload the details page and confirm the updated expiry date.
Renewal becomes available during the final 60 days before expiry. A successful renewal adds 365 days to the previous expiry date.
The current renewal flow also accepts expired registrations during their seven-day grace period, provided their status remains eligible. Renew before expiry rather than relying on that period. Suspended registrations and registrations past their grace deadline cannot use this flow; contact support.
If the dashboard says to wait before renewing, try again when the renewal window opens. If it reports that the registration changed, refresh the page before retrying.
Change DNS providers
Use Edit Nameservers on the details page. Follow the Nameservers guide to prepare the new DNS zone before changing delegation.
Delete a subdomain
- Open Manage for the correct subdomain.
- Find Delete Domain and choose Delete.
- Check the displayed address, type
DELETE, and confirm.
The dashboard describes deletion as permanent. Move any services that depend on the address before deleting it. Do not assume that you can register the same name again.
Review account activity
Open audit Logs in the dashboard to review recorded account actions. Include the relevant time and action when reporting a problem.
